A 14-year-old child was caught driving a deregistered car with false plates in Dolj. The police have opened a criminal case for traffic offenses.

On the morning of November 29, police officers from the 12th Rural Police Station in Daneți stopped a car on Traian Street in the commune of Amărăştii de Jos, noticing that the vehicle accelerated upon seeing the patrol. A 14-year-old minor was behind the wheel, and checks revealed that the car was deregistered and had false license plates.

It seems that the car belonged to the child's family and had been deregistered in the summer of this year. The adolescent's parents stated that they were not aware that he had taken the car onto public roads. The police opened a criminal case for driving a vehicle without a license and for putting an unregistered vehicle into circulation.
