The Ministry of Finance has launched the eighth edition of the TEZAUR Program, allowing Romanians to invest in government securities with maturities of 1, 3 and 5 years, with annual interest rates of 6.90%, 7.50% and 7.85%. Subscriptions can be made between August 4 and September 5, 2025, through the Ghișeul.ro platform, online for people registered in the SPV, or at State Treasury units. Proceeds from these securities are non-taxable and the proceeds will be used to finance the budget deficit.
