An IAR-330 helicopter belonging to the 712th Transport Helicopter Squadron encountered a technical malfunction during a training flight. The aircraft managed to land safely near the municipality of Reșița, and the crew consisting of two pilots and one on-board mechanic was unharmed, being out of any danger.

The Ministry of National Defense communicated that the situation was managed according to specific procedures, and technical verification and incident assessment activities are currently underway. Representatives of the Ministry of National Defense assured that all necessary measures are being taken to analyze the circumstances of the malfunction.
