Hundreds of fans who wanted to buy tickets for Metallica's concert in Bucharest, scheduled for May 13, 2026, have reported serious problems in the online purchase process. Although many had pre-sale accounts, tickets quickly sold out and prices for those available were exorbitant. The ANPC has begun checks to investigate possible irregularities in the sale, including accusations of selling inferior tickets as 'premium'. Metallica will donate part of the proceeds to charitable causes in Romania.
