Prosecutors have seized the assets of Horațiu Potra, accused of tax evasion, embezzlement and money laundering, after he obtained undeclared income from security services in Congo. Potra, who is wanted internationally, used front companies to move large sums of money, with an estimated total damage of more than 7.2 million lei. Three other suspects, including his brother, are being investigated for complicity in similar offenses.
