Anti-corruption prosecutors have indicted Mirela-Florența Matichescu on charges of abuse of office while she was public administrator of Constanta County. Together with other officials, Matichescu is suspected of illegally granting funding to a football sports association, thus damaging the county's budget by 835,757.26 lei. The investigation revealed that legal procedures were violated, including accepting documents after the deadline and awarding unjustified scores. Constanta County Council has joined the civil action in the case.
