A medical emergency occurred at the subway station Piața Unirii 1, and train traffic is restricted.

A medical emergency occurred today, April 2, around 3:30 PM, at the Piața Unirii 1 metro station, where a person was harmed in a train on line 2, heading towards Eroilor 1. Metrorex requested the help of SMURD, and the train remained stationary at the platform until the necessary procedures were completed.

Passengers from the stopped train were transferred to another train that arrived on the other line. Currently, the subway train service is operating on a single track on line 1, between Timpuri Noi and Piața Unirii 1.

The transport company informed that passengers are kept informed about the situation through the sound systems in the stations. Metrorex will provide updates regarding the resumption of normal train service.
