The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, announced the increase in the value of meal vouchers from 40 to 50 lei, a decision made during the meeting of the National Tripartite Council.

This measure was agreed upon with the consensus of the unions and employers, being considered good news for employees. Additionally, in the same meeting, discussions were held about increasing the minimum wage for the next year; however, the decision was postponed, and discussions are set to resume in the second half of November.
