On Saturday evening, thousands of protesters gathered in Victory Square to advocate for the independence of the judiciary, chanting slogans against the president of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, Lia Savonea, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Cătălin Predoiu. Similar protests took place in other cities across the country, as well as in the diaspora. The participants, who brought tricolor flags and European Union flags, demanded the resignation of the officials and supported judge Raluca Moroșanu.

The gendarmes expanded the protest perimeter as the number of participants increased. The protesters used vuvuzelas and drums, shouting messages such as "No statute of limitations for corruption" and "Justice, not corruption." A symbolic moment was the lighting of mobile phones, accompanied by chants of solidarity. The protesters brought banners with critical messages about the judicial system and organized a dedicated space where people with megaphones were present.

On Sunday, a new march titled "Together for Justice" will take place, starting from University Square to Victory Square, aimed at supporting the magistrates who denounce corruption in the judicial system. The organizers are calling for the dismissal of Lia Savonea, the removal of the DNA leadership and Cătălin Predoiu, as well as legislative reforms to combat corruption.
