In an interview for Antena 3 CNN, Marius Voineag commented on the statements of the former chief prosecutor of the DNA, Crin Bologa, who claimed that Klaus Iohannis had called him to Cotroceni to discuss the tranquility of politicians and that he could prove that the discussion was illegally recorded. Voineag was asked if he knew of cases where presidents or politicians had been recorded by prosecutors, to which he replied that he hopes there have not been such situations and emphasized that Bologa must prove what he claimed. Additionally, Voineag denied that Iohannis or the current president, Nicușor Dan, had asked him to abandon any investigation, stating that discussions with them did not include such requests, but were conducted at a different level.
