Marek Noetzel will take over as CEO of NEPI Rockcastle in April 2026, the company expanding with a new mall and a hotel in Bucharest.

Marek Noetzel, currently COO of NEPI Rockcastle, will become the CEO of the company on April 1, 2026, replacing Rüdiger Dany. Noetzel joined Rockcastle Global Real Estate in 2016 and has been responsible for the company's expansion in Poland. NEPI Rockcastle, the largest real estate investor in Romania, reported revenues of nearly 300 million euros from its 22 malls, with a growth of 12.4% compared to the previous year.

The company is working on the expansion of the Promenada Bucharest mall, estimated for Q1 2027, including a 4-star hotel and an underground parking lot. Additionally, NEPI Rockcastle is planning new residential projects in Brașov and Craiova, with a total portfolio value of 7.1 billion euros, of which 38% comes from Romania.
