The incident occurred in April 2025, when the intoxicated man wreaked havoc in a neighbor's yard and drove without a license, with a blood alcohol level of 2.61 g/l. On May 4, he tied the neighbor's horse to his car and dragged it through the village, causing its death. The community was deeply shocked by the cruelty and the court handed down a 7-year prison sentence for his actions. This is not an isolated case, with other recent incidents of animal abuse in the area.
