A man from Mehedinți County is being investigated criminally after he transformed his own home into a gambling hall. The police, having information about the illegal activities, conducted searches at his residence, where they discovered five gambling machines and a considerable amount of money. Investigators established that the gambling hall did not have a license, as the man lived in a commune with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants, which contravenes the legislation in force. The machines and the money were confiscated, and the man was charged with illegal gambling activities.
