A 27-year-old man from Constanța County was placed in preventive arrest after he shot a dog with a hunting weapon, without having a license. The incident was discovered on January 31, when police officers from Hârșova were alerted by loud noises at a commercial establishment.
At the scene, they found a car driven by the man, which contained a hunting weapon and 20 unused cartridges. A breathalyzer test showed a concentration of 0.96 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. Additionally, the police discovered a dead dog that had been shot. The man was detained for several offenses, including driving under the influence of alcohol and poaching, and the court decided to place him in preventive arrest for 30 days.
