The incident took place on Sunday when a 33-year-old man stopped a truck on the A1 highway, causing significant traffic jams at the entrance to Bucharest. Police quickly intervened, detaining the man for 24 hours and fining him for the protest that led to the traffic disruption. Although the reason for the protest was unclear, the images showed nationalist messages. The two drivers involved face severe penalties, including imprisonment, for public order violations. Traffic resumed after about two hours.
