Man attacked by bear in Mureș County. Victim urgently transported to hospital

A 58-year-old man was attacked by a bear in a forest in Mureș County on Sunday, around 12:30 PM. The incident took place between the localities of Torba and Abud, and emergency teams were alerted immediately. A SMURD ambulance and the SMURD Brașov helicopter were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the victim was conscious but had multiple open wounds on his legs and an open fracture on his left arm.

The man was medically evaluated and, due to the severity of his injuries, was urgently transported to the UPU Târgu Mureș for further care. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the attack.
