A man has been detained after he fired shots at a McDonald's restaurant in Cerkasî, wounding himself.

The incident occurred on Thursday morning when the man entered the McDonald's restaurant in Cerkasi, Ukraine, and opened fire, injuring himself in the process. Authorities quickly intervened, evacuating customers and staff, and securing the area. After about an hour, the man was detained by KORD special troops and hospitalized for medical care. Police have not provided further details about his identity or the reasons for his actions.
