The man who kidnapped a woman and a child in the apartment in Bucharest has been apprehended.

A serious incident of domestic violence occurred in Bucharest, where a 21-year-old man was detained for 24 hours. The Capital Police announced that investigations are being conducted by the 25th Police Section, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Court of Sector 6, for offenses such as violation of protection measures, deprivation of liberty, and assault. The incident was reported by a woman who stated that her friend was being held against her will in an apartment, threatened with a knife by her former partner, and that her one-year-old child was also inside.

The police initially spoke with the victim through the door, but due to the risks, they called negotiators from the Special Actions Service. The woman threatened to jump from the balcony if force was used to intervene. Subsequently, the police entered the apartment, restrained the man, and ensured the safety of the woman and child, who were unharmed.
