<p>President Maia Sandu urged citizens to participate in the Sovereignty March on June 23 to celebrate 35 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Sovereignty. This historic moment marked the beginning of Moldova's journey towards independence. Sandu underlined the importance of freedom and the will of the people in determining the country's destiny, saying that Moldova continues to move towards integration into the European Union. The march will take place at 19:00 and citizens are encouraged to come with the tricolor, honoring the memory of those who contributed to statehood.
