USR Deputy Radu Miruță initiated a bill that was adopted on Wednesday by the plenary of the Chamber of Deputies, aimed at digitizing the vehicle registration process. Although the registration will be partially online, citizens will need to appear at the counter to obtain the login details for the platform.

Deputy Radu Miruță emphasized the need to correct this situation, considering that the procedure was semi-digitalized by Emergency Ordinance 38/2023. Once the law is promulgated, the General Directorate of Driving Licenses will be required to create online accounts for users and provide access data. Radu Miruță highlighted the importance of digitization for Romania and thanked his colleagues in Parliament and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their support in implementing this law.
