Kelemen Hunor, the president of UDMR, stated that the current government has opened too many fronts in its attempts to reduce the budget deficit, which has led to significant pressure on the middle class. He emphasizes that the government's room for maneuver is limited, and Romania's deficit and debt remain high, with interest rates representing a considerable burden.

Hunor mentioned that, although the government intends to address financial issues, opening too many fronts can lead to a loss of social support. He warned that people, especially those in the middle class, feel at their limit regarding their standard of living, and the feeling of loss is becoming more acute. Kelemen Hunor highlighted the importance of responsible management of economic issues, considering the impact on society.
