Laurențiu Beșu, a magistrate, explained that he registered for the admission exam to the judiciary in 2010, fulfilling all regulatory requirements, including the necessary documents that proved his experience as a judicial police officer. The promotion of the competition was validated by the Superior Council of Magistracy, and Beșu claims that all his statements correspond to the truth. The judge rejected the accusations of the president of the Bucharest Court of Appeal, clarifying that he was not disturbed by requests to justify his opinions, but reproached the lack of opportunity to express his views at the practical meetings.

Beșu expressed regret that the reactions from the judicial system focused on personal attacks instead of addressing the deficiencies of the system. He assured that his goal is to remedy the problems in justice and to regain public trust in the judicial system.
