The interviews for the appointment of the heads of the General Prosecutor's Office, DNA, and DIICOT will begin on Monday, February 23, with candidates for the leadership of the ICCJ Prosecutor's Office.
For the position of Prosecutor General of Romania, Cristina Chiriac, head of DNA Iași, and Bogdan Pîrlog, a military prosecutor, are running. Marius Voineag, the current head of DNA, will run for the position of Deputy Prosecutor General. The Ministry of Justice has published the list of the 19 candidates who passed the test, and the interviews will take place between February 23 and 26. Each candidate will have 30 minutes for their presentation and one hour for questions. The results will be published on March 2, and the proposals will be sent to the CSM Prosecutors' Section for approval. The final decision will be made by President Nicușor Dan.
