Interviews for the leadership of the General Prosecutor's Office, DNA, and DIICOT will start on Tuesday. The CSM's opinion is advisory, and the final decision belongs to President Nicușor Dan.

The CSM's selection for prosecutors will conduct interviews with the judges nominated by the Minister of Justice for the leadership positions of the General Prosecutor's Office, DNA, and DIICOT, during the period of March 10-17.

The first interview will take place on Tuesday at 1:00 PM, with Codrin Horațiu Miron, proposed for the leadership of DIICOT. He has a solid academic career and significant experience in combating economic and financial crime. His management project aims to increase the operational capacity of DIICOT by prioritizing criminal investigations and cooperating with international structures. The schedule of hearings includes interviews with other prosecutors, such as Alex Florin Florența and Cristina Chiriac, and the CSM's opinion will be consultative, the final decision belonging to President Nicușor Dan.

He mentioned that he conducted a detailed analysis of the candidates, based on discussions with prosecutors, to make an informed decision.
