On the occasion of the International Day of Electronic Waste, ECOTIC emphasizes the necessity of separate collection of electronic waste, highlighting that 29 out of 34 critical European raw materials are found in it. In 2022, the EU generated 10.7 million tons of electronic waste, and recycling it could reduce dependence on imports. ECOTIC organizes educational activities and collection campaigns to raise public awareness about the recovery of these resources.
