Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated, during a press conference after discussions with major energy consumers, that currently, there are no planned increases in energy prices for household consumers, emphasizing that there are no issues in ensuring energy in Romania.

"At this moment, we are not taking into account – apart from the dialogue and measures that can be adopted for large consumers – other measures. There is currently no problem related to ensuring energy in Romania in general, neither for households nor for hospitals," said Ilie Bolojan.

Bolojan mentioned that the measures taken mainly focus on large consumers. Although he acknowledged that energy imports, which are higher in the evening hours and at higher prices, could influence prices in the autumn period, he assured that they do not expect these to be "turned upside down." The Prime Minister emphasized that there will inevitably be an influence on prices, but reiterated that the current situation is stable for both household consumers and hospitals.
