Alert in a village in Mureș, after a local reported seeing Emil Gânj, wanted for murder.

The police and gendarmes have launched a large-scale operation in Mureș County, in the locality of Senereuș, after a local resident called 112 and stated that he saw Emil Gânj, wanted for more than nine months.

Gânj is accused of having killed his ex-girlfriend and set fire to the house where her body was found. Authorities have mobilized dozens of personnel to verify the information received and confirm Gânj's presence in the area.

Since the moment he was put on the wanted list, there have been several calls to 112, but none have led to his capture. Authorities are appealing to the public to provide relevant information that could help in his capture.
