In 2024, the number of parcels delivered in Romania reached 335 million, marking a 27% increase compared to the previous year and surpassing for the first time the mail traffic, which was 267 million shipments. The largest delivery companies were Delivery Solutions – Sameday (32%), Fan Courier (26%) and Cargus (11%). Investments in postal services exceeded 500 million lei, with a 23% increase, due to the increased demand for parcels. Total revenues from postal services reached nearly 6.5 billion lei, and justified complaints increased by 41%, with an average compensation value of 227 lei. Although the number of employees decreased by 3%, the average income generated by an employee increased by 18%.
