Acting President Ilie Bolojan underlines the importance of lifting visas for Romanians, not only to facilitate travel, but also to improve the international perception of Romania. Following the suspension of the implementation of the Electronic System of Travel Authorization for Romanian citizens, Bolojan expects the Romanian institutions to communicate the progress in this regard. The Visa Waiver Program allows citizens of designated countries to travel to the US visa-free for short periods.
