Former minister Ilan Laufer was hit in Bucharest while riding a scooter with two of his children.
The accident occurred on Mircea Vulcănescu Street, before 9:00 AM, when Ilan Laufer, former minister for Business Environment, was crossing a pedestrian crossing with his twins on an electric scooter. A driver entered Mircea Vulcănescu Street and hit them, causing Laufer a head injury, while the children fell onto the asphalt. At the scene, the police were alerted via 112 and confirmed the accident, which involved a vehicle and a scooter.
Fortunately, no one required transport to the hospital, and the accident only resulted in material damages. Both drivers were tested with a breathalyzer, with negative results. The individuals involved were directed to the Light Accidents Office for resolution.
