MVM, the Hungarian group aiming to take over E.On's business in Romania, last year recorded a turnover twice that of OMV Petrom. However, MVM's turnover is 7 times lower than E.On's. MVM also has significant exposure to the Russian market, being dependent on imported gas from Gazprom.
