Radu Marinescu: "The extradition of Potra is a very good result. The accusations are particularly serious."

The Minister of Justice, Radu Marinescu, stated on Thursday, at Digi24, that the extradition of Horațiu Potra from Dubai represents "a very good result for the Romanian authorities" and emphasized that Potra's position to surrender to the authorities has "legal significance."

The official specified that the charges in the case are "particularly serious" and that all those involved, including Potra's son and grandson, are to follow the judicial procedures in Romania, having the legal possibility to exercise their defense. Marinescu also emphasized the importance of treating the case with maximum seriousness, objectivity, and adherence to criminal procedures.
