The interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan delivered a speech at the Navy Day celebrations in Constanța, where he emphasized the importance of the Naval Forces in the context of security at the eastern border.
However, his speech was interrupted by boos and whistles from a section of the crowd, which chanted messages such as "Go to Bucharest" and "Applaud the sailors, Bolojan, go home." Bolojan continued to speak about the role of the Romanian Navy in defending the borders and national interests in the Black Sea.
This is not an isolated incident, as the Prime Minister has been booed in the past at public events, including during the same celebration in 2025, after his dismissal following a vote of no confidence.
