The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, reveals the discussion with a chronic patient: "Every time I go to the hospital, I feel like I'm bothering!"

At the opening of the Profit Health.forum - 17th Edition, the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, emphasized that investments in hospitals and modern equipment are not sufficient without an appropriate behavior of the medical staff towards patients.

He stated that empathy and respect are fundamental in the doctor-patient relationship, emphasizing that in order to receive respect, medical staff must offer respect.

"A patient told me something a few months ago, and that image has remained in my mind because unfortunately, he is right. This is the perception of patients about the system. Even if it is not, we cannot, we must not generalize, because it is not universally valid, but the opinion of that patient moved me. He said this: 'I am a chronic patient, every time I go to the hospital, I feel like I am bothering.'
