The main reported problem is the inability to send messages, and the disruption began in the early hours of the day. At its peak, over 12,000 users reported difficulties, according to the Downdetector platform, which monitors the status of various websites. Nearly three-quarters of the complaints came from users of the Instagram app. Users are awaiting a solution from Meta's technical team.
