The leader of AUR, George Simion, is currently on a visit to the United States, alongside other party members, where he was filmed cutting a cake in the shape of Greenland, a symbol of Donald Trump's intention to annex this Danish territory.

He was filmed during an event organized by an organization affiliated with conservatives from the Republican Party. The video was initially posted on the X platform by journalist Mark Naughton and later redistributed by the group 'Republicans for National Renewal'.

During the event, Simion stated: "We will be there for all the free people in the world."

The images were also published by members of the U.S. Congress, including Anna Paulina Luna. This appearance by Simion coincides with the Davos Forum, where the subject of Greenland is being intensely discussed, in the context of Trump arriving in Switzerland to participate in this event, generating international tensions.
