Extremist leader George Simion posted on Facebook an offensive message against President Nicușor Dan, calling him 'Muc'. "Some at home are annoyed that I'm in the US. Wish I would stay at home to play handball with Muc. Leave in the comments, dear Romanians, where you want me to come in the next period, only from you I listen!" he wrote in the post. Simion, who lost the presidential election to Dan, initially conceded the result but later challenged the vote at the Constitutional Court, which rejected his challenge.
