FrieslandCampina has announced the sale of its Romanian operations, including the Napolact brand, to Bonafarm Group. The transaction, one of the most significant in the food industry, includes the plants in Cluj-Napoca and Târgu Mureș, as well as 400 employees. This strategic decision allows FrieslandCampina to focus on its core markets, while Bonafarm intends to invest in the development of the Napolact brand and production facilities. The finalization of the transaction depends on obtaining the necessary approvals, expected by the end of 2025.
