The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that Ford is recalling 694,271 crossover SUVs because of a fuel injector problem that can lead to leaks and increase the risk of fire. Until repairs are completed, Ford is offering a free engine control update to detect leaks and reduce fuel pressure. Customer notifications will begin August 18, 2025.
