The former Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, stated on Tuesday that the claims made by interim Minister Dragoș Pîslaru, according to which the guidance allowance was missing from the salary law project, are false. Manole emphasized that this allowance is essential for tens of thousands of guidance counselors in pre-university education and accused Pîslaru of refusing to include it in discussions with the parties.
He insisted that the guidance allowance was part of the PSD's proposals for the new salary law, even with a significant budgetary impact. Manole criticized the populism and electoral promises of Pîslaru, emphasizing that the purpose of the consensus was to maintain coherence in public discourse. He also addressed the disappearance of some allowances, stating that employees' incomes will not decrease. Manole responded to Pîslaru's critics regarding the delay of the project, explaining that previous decisions of the Romanian state must be respected.
