ISU Tulcea firefighters are intervening to extinguish a vegetation fire in Chilia Veche, on an area of 6 hectares, with the help of a Black Hawk helicopter.

The fire of dry vegetation, reeds and forest undergrowth is burning on an area of about 6 hectares in the locality of Chilia Veche. Due to the difficult accessibility and the risk of spreading, the firefighters requested the support of the Black Hawk helicopter for aerial reconnaissance and water drops. The fire-fighting action is being supported by 2 water and foam fire engines, as well as by workers from the Forestry Office.
