In the last 24 hours, firefighters have extinguished more than 250 fires, in the context of the red and orange heatwave codes. The blazes have destroyed more than 1,700 hectares of land and 1,422 people have been assisted by the SMURD teams following almost 1,400 first aid requests. Firefighters also carried out 276 life-saving missions and issued 23 warning messages via the RO-ALERT system.
