On Sunday morning, firefighters from Dolj intervened to recover a man who drowned in the Danube, in Rast. The intervention included an inflatable boat search and rescue crew, an SMURD ambulance, a diving crew, a CBRN boat and an SMURD helicopter. The man's body was located and brought ashore, but unfortunately the doctors were unable to save his life and he was pronounced dead.
