The natural gas supply has been interrupted for 14,000 consumers in Voluntari due to a fire caused by a traffic accident between two cars on Pipera Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 11:00 AM and led to the disruption of the gas distribution system. The intervention teams from Neogas Grid SA responded quickly, shutting off gas from a nearby valve to prevent further risks. The company announced that supply will be resumed safely on October 20, after 09:00.

Additionally, approximately 60 people were evacuated from a nearby hotel, but no casualties were reported. Consumers are advised not to restart gas installations and to avoid using open flames or sources of sparks in areas with a gas smell. The company is collaborating with authorities to manage the situation.
