A large fire broke out in an apartment located on the 5th floor of a building in the One Cotroceni residential complex, causing significant smoke emissions, including in the building's stairwell.

According to the Bucharest-Ilfov Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISUBIF), search and rescue teams have been established to identify and evacuate all individuals who may be caught by the flames. On-site, 7 fire-fighting vehicles, 1 rescue vehicle, 2 intervention and high-altitude rescue vehicles, the Special Rescue Detachment, and 6 SMURD ambulances are intervening to manage the emergency situation. Authorities continue to monitor the fire and ensure the safety of residents.
