A fire followed by the explosion of a gas cylinder destroyed a pastry shop in Gherla, Cluj County. No casualties were reported.

On Sunday, a fire broke out at a pie shop in Gherla, Cluj County, followed by the explosion of a gas cylinder. The incident occurred on Dragoș Vodă Street, and firefighters from the Dej Detachment intervened at the scene. Fortunately, there were no casualties; however, the pie shop building, approximately 10 square meters, was completely destroyed.

Additionally, the windows of nearby buildings were affected. According to ISU Cluj, the fire was likely caused by a heat pump located inside, where the gas cylinder that exploded was also present. Response teams, including SVSU Gherla, were mobilized to manage the situation.
