The General Directorate of Local Police of Bucharest Municipality has fined sanitation operators a total of 205,000 lei for failing to comply with snow removal obligations on streets, sidewalks, STB stations, and pedestrian crossings. The fines were distributed by sectors, with the highest fines in Sector 6 (55,000 lei) and Sector 1 (40,000 lei).

In addition, the municipality announced that the first lane of traffic is blocked on some arteries due to snow. The general mayor, Ciprian Ciucu, has requested sector mayors to efficiently coordinate snow removal actions, especially in the context of a new snowfall episode announced by meteorologists. It was also emphasized the importance of ensuring the functioning of drainage outlets to prevent the accumulation of water from melting snow.
