A woman died on DN6 after being hit by a car and projected into a truck, being dragged 500 meters. A driver fled the scene.

On Friday morning, a serious accident occurred on DN6, on the ring road of the municipality of Drobeta-Turnu Severin, where a female pedestrian was hit by a car. The impact threw her into oncoming traffic, where she was struck by a truck, being dragged nearly 500 meters.

Firefighters and ambulance crews arrived at the scene, but they had difficulties in locating the victim due to the distance she had been dragged. Currently, an investigation is underway, as one of the drivers involved is said to have fled the scene of the accident. Investigators are examining footage from a nearby gas station to identify the license plate number of the vehicle and find the responsible driver.
