On Sunday evening, a tragic accident occurred on DN 73, between Predeal and Râșnov, where a pedestrian was fatally struck by a car while crossing legally. The Infotrafic Center of the Romanian General Police Inspectorate announced that traffic is halted on DN 73A following the incident. The accident took place near the locality of Predeal, Brașov County.

Authorities have confirmed that the victim was crossing legally, but details about the circumstances of the accident and the identity of the deceased have not yet been made public. It is estimated that road traffic will resume after 9:00 PM.
