A road accident occurred on Saturday morning in Oradea, resulting in the death of a 36-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, a passenger on the motorcycle.

On Saturday, at 00:43, a road accident occurred on Borșului Road – D.N. 1, in the municipality of Oradea. A 36-year-old man, riding a motorcycle from Săndulesti towards Oradea, entered the roundabout without adjusting his speed, losing control of the direction.

The motorcycle hit the curb that separates the roadway from the green space, continuing its movement until the impact with the curb inside the roundabout. Both the motorcycle driver and the 30-year-old passenger fell onto the roadway and suffered multiple injuries, which caused their deaths at the scene.

The police officers of the Oradea Traffic Bureau continue the investigations under the supervision of a prosecutor to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
